An extended version of excursions with landing on two forts. The tour passes through the waters of the Big Kronstadt raid along the route Fort Konstantin – Fort Alexander – Fort Graf Milyutin (visit). 1 hour on the water, 1 hour on the forts.

Fort Grand Duke Constantine is the largest sea fort in the south waters of the Kronstadt fortress. Experimental and training sites where serf specialists were trained.

Fort Alexander I – the only multi-tiered fort of Kronstadt, called by contemporaries a frigate house for the similarity of its designs with the side of a battleship; the place where at the beginning of the 20th century a special microbiological laboratory was located.

Fort Peter I – the first casemated stone fort of Kronstadt, built under Peter I and called it the citadel.

The Kronstadt fairway is one of the sections of the famous trade route of antiquity “From the Varangians to the Greeks”, along which “soft gold” – furs — was brought to the warm countries from the Lord Veliky Novgorod. Interestingly, this fairway is still the only one “sea road” to St. Petersburg.

The complex of Kronstadt harbors – includes five separate harbors: Cabotage, Merchant, Middle, Forest and Military. It was originally designed under Peter I. From the end of the 18th century, the harbor was gradually faced with granite. The length of the facade of the Kronstadt harbors is about two kilometers. Their walls are on an artificial foundation.

Kronshlot Fort is the first Russian fort in the Baltic – the brainchild of Peter the Great. The place where Kronstadt began.

Nikolaev lighthouses are two graceful picturesque metal towers located on the territory of the Kronshlot fort. Built at the end of the XIX century for a reliable approach of ships to the port of Kronstadt.

Fort “Milyutin” is the first armored turret battery in Russia. On this fort our group will land. How it functioned; strolling through the interior. You can also visit the exhibition dedicated to the history of the Kronstadt fortress. Of course, at the end of the program you will have free time for an independent walk around the fort.
